20 Free Learning Games and Apps for Homeschoolers (That Kids Actually Love)

Homeschool doesn’t have to mean endless worksheets and boredom. There are so many amazing free apps and games that make learning fun — whether your kids are working on math, reading, or just exploring new ideas. These are 20 free learning games and apps for homeschoolers to keep your homeschool days engaging (and give you a little peace and quiet while they learn).

A Quick Note Before We Begin

None of these are full homeschool curriculums — they’re best used as supplements to what you’re already doing.

In our home, we love using learning games in moderation — especially during slower afternoons, evenings, or Friday “fun days” once goals are met.

And honestly, these are an awesome way to swap traditional video games for something that still feels fun and productive.
